1.6 Gallon / 6.1 Liter Composite Kitchen Compost Bin with AbsorbX

After using this product for over two years, I've come to the conclusion that it's better to toss the lid and not deal with buying filters. You will find that covering the bucket causes the compost to decompose, hence, odor is present. Leaving it uncovered allows it to breathe with no odor building up. Additionally, the cover can get stuck in place and be hard to remove without using two hands. It is so much easier not to have to deal with the lid every time you want to discard something.

SMALL: I have Guinea Pigs, so now I have 3 of these and 4 dogs that drag in leaves. Looking forward to 3 batches next spring.

I would order a larger one of similar quality if they made one.
