We had a problem while leaving our house to people who were not careful, and the device broke for some unknown reason. But we were able to purchase the warranty and got the lid replaced very promptly. Now it works well again.

excellent product for touchless kitchen
These lids have a glitch. I ordered a replacement for a trash can I’ve had for over 4 years. The lid gave out. The replacement would not close on its on. I did all the fixes they suggested without any success. They sent a replacement that has the same issue. Nothing they suggest helps. These lids are very expensive, so I want it to work. Don’t want to keep having to send back lids. I asked for a refund and they acted like I was lying. So disappointed, when it had a working lid it was a great trash can. Hope you have better luck.
