This is a replacement top. The top opens/closes quicker and is much quieter than my original lid. I’m sure it’s because this top uses D batteries versus C for my original top.
No problems with fitting properly.
The only issue, you have be closer to sensor for it to operate.

Lid cover functions well, is responsive to motion and has no erratic movements.
1sr lid broke after 2 years, was replaced for 15 …new lid is definitely updated
