Works, just not as tight as original.

This part is a decent replacement. It does work, it's just not as snug as the original...hoping that doesn't lend to throwing it away again :)

Worked perfectly!

My husband accidentally threw out the ring with the trash. Easy to do if you are in a hurry since the ring is covered by the top of the garbage bag and can get tucked inside when you pull on the garbage bag draw string. Given the cost of a new ring, however, it is not a mistake you are likely to make twice. I'm just grateful that the ring is sold separately! Love my iTouchless trash can so much that I have three of them!!!
