Replacement top working fine for now

The fact that I spent so much on this trash can then for the top to stop working not even 6 months then had to pay for shipping on a new top was a little ridiculous. Keeping my fingers crossed this top last longer than 6 months.

I give it 5 stars -- it works perfectly and convinces us we made the right decision to buy one in the first place. I hope this new replacement doesn't conk out after several years the way our original did.
