I purchased the endless touchless trashcan over 13 years ago and my first adapter has worked that long. I expect the second one to last even longer. I would purchase it again.

My trash can stopped working. After several tries with other options, I purchased another adapter and it works fine. Batteries also worked but they are costly to keep replacing. I will say that the adapter is pricey
A bit pricey for a simple ac adapter but should pay for itself in batteries.
Nice to have when batteries wear out.
