Just curious, we have an old one that’s a few years old and it stopped working. Should say it works intermittently. Then it doesn’t work, then it does work. Is there anyway to reset these?
I have 2 units and the lid stopped working within 18 months. Replacement lid is as much as entire unit.
I received the garbage can last week, and from the moment I installed the batteries and turned it on, it sounded like it was struggling to open. It does every time I use it. I don't think it will last very long.
I don't recall the other purchase date, BUT, Amazon tells me I purchased this in 2017!! That 2017 purchase is still going strong, thus there was no problem deciding which to choose when we needed another for our new rental property.

Our first iTouchless trash can we bought was 8 years ago. Have to say this is a quality product if it lasted that long. Just got a new one and looking forward to another 8+ years.
