The replacement lid fit fine - exact same lid as the original. It mostly works, but not always. It reliably opens. No problem with opening. But, only occasionally does it automatically closes itself. Usually you have to tap/push the lid and then it closes.
Still not as good as the original but atleast it works. Still very noisey and also not as smooth as the first one. for the price you would think it would be perfect if it breaks again will not replace
The replacement lid was way better than the initial one. Initial one was skipping right from the start. This one is smooth!
It has only been a couple of weeks. The other one barely lasted past the warranty date of course.
I loved this when I bought the can a year or so ago, then it broke and now I've ordered the replacement part twice and twice it has NOT worked. So disappointed.
