Replacement Lid

The replacement lid I received works perfectly. Apparently these electronic lids have a lifespan of approximately five to seven years. Then they begin to malfunction and need to be replaced. The new lid has a pet latch, which the old lid did not have. The latch does not stop the lid from trying to open if engaged. I feel this was a design error. It seems to me that the mechanism could be damaged by trying to open while the engaged latch is preventing it. For me, this new feature is an extraneous addition that I don't need, but had to pay for. Otherwise, I am happy to have a working lid again.

Love love love it.

Cooking chicken need to through something in garbage without touching and contaminating anything excellent product.. over all I love it. Looks nice to o and 30 gallon bags fit in perfectly!!! I give it a 10+
