I had one previously for 17 years and it worked wonderfully. This one seems to work even better than the old one. So far I am very pleased with it.
I bought this off Amazon because I was sick of my dogs getting into the trash can. Since getting this can it has been a charm. The lid mechanism broke after about 6months. We took it apart to try to fix it but unfortunately not possible. So we purchased another lid. It worked for a year and 3 months, now it’s broken again. I emailed the company to see if there’s any other way to fix this without having to buy another lid for $69.99 but I have a feeling I’ll either have to invest my money in another working product or buy another lid.
This is our 3rd one of these garbage cans. We love them, but unfortunately we do end up having to replace it about every 5 years because the lid stops working.
I have had this product for over 6 years and only recently had to replace the batteries. Works great every time and I love the hands free feature. I would buy this same product again, but I don’t have to because this one works perfectly!
