Garbage Bag Retaining Ring of Wings Open Trash Can

I tried to stretch a garbage bag that was too small onto the ring and the ring broke. Now I stretch the bag before I put it on the ring. The new ring is still intact.

Still having a hard time fitting the 13 gallon trash bag on the ring. I hope the new plastic ring doesn’t break like the original one did.

My daughter (adult) managed to throw my original ring away. I was relieved to find this at a reasonable price. It is a piece of plastic, so there is nothing exciting to say about it... but it fit just right.

I hope the new ring will last a little longer than the original ring, but being made from plastic, it's a hit or miss. If you would only make it from carbon fiber it would NEVER break and need to be replaced. Overall, I absolutely love my trash can and can use it without the ring, but it's much better with it. I gifted the same model trash can to my brother and sister-in-law and they love theirs, too!
