Replacement lid.

For the price, it should have come with new filters and with a plug-in ac adapter.

Perfect replacement!

My kids are creatures of chaos and destruction and managed to finally break the original lid after several years. I had to do a little searching to find just a replacement lid since the metal can is far more durable. This replacement part fits perfectly and works great. Now we just need to re-train ourselves again on using the sensor instead of lifting the lid manually!

Meh

My original can worked fine for about 4 years. Then, the lid needed to be replaced. I ordered the replacement and within a week, the lid wouldn't fully open. I reached out to customer service and received another replacement. It has been about a week since receiving it and it too doesnt seem to be working properly. Im not sure if they manufacturer changes the motor or sensor or waht, but I am still not satisfied. I am using an AC/DC adapter, so batteries are not an issue.

I think the cover should come with the filter compartment.

The price of the cover is enough to corer the filter compartment.
