Returned it and waiting for my refund
I have had this model for three years of daily use and have not had to change the battery. It takes a large garbage which reduces the change-over frequency, and the morion sensor wings design is smart. This product is definitely in the top 5 in our home.
This can is better than I ever imagined!! The sensor works great, which is nice for when my hands are dirty from cooking.
